The aim of Faith Formation is to deepen a person's relationship with Jesus, how better to do this than to attend Mass. Faith Formation families are obliged to attend Mass regularly and complete a Mass reflection sheet.
In lieu of weekly in person classes, Faith Formation 2024-2025 will transition to an online platform with regular in-person meetings, i.e. monthly or bi-monthly.- Students will continue using the Faith & Life curriculum powered by My Catholic Faith Delivered, the online program introduced in the 2023-24 school year.
- There will be training on how to use the online portal.
- To build a greater sense of community within our program, families will be connected to other families by grade level, and a catechist will check in, offer support, and track weekly progress.

Registration forms, handbook, and calendar will be sent out via email and available on our website. Forms are fillable here online, can be emailed to me, or can be turned in at the church office. All fees will be paid online through our website, www.stmarycp.org.

Order of Christian Initation for Children
The Order of Christian Initiation for Children (commonly known as OCIC) is a process designed for children Grade 3 or older who were baptized in Protestant faiths or who have never been baptized. These families and children come to the parish to celebrate First Eucharist.
A class of special instructions is offered to prepare for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist. If the candidate is not baptized she receives all of the above Sacraments at the Easter Saturday Vigil following the Lenten season and concluding Holy Week. If the candidate is baptized then she makes a Profession of Faith and receives the Eucharist.Please connect with Cathy Scolaro if your child(ren) are within this age range and circumstance. We're happy to provide instruction and formation to welcome them fully into the Church!
